Willow Barkspot - Diatrype bullata
A barkspot associated with willows, rarely poplars. The fruit bodies (stromata) break through the bark (erumpent) and have an elongated outline. They are dark in colour, with white flesh inside.
Very similar barkspots occur on other species of deciduous tree
