Gold-of-pleasure - Camelina sativa
A yellow-flowered crucifer with rounded seed-pods on long pedicels and simple leaves that clasp the stem. Glabrous or only slightly hairy.
Other Camelina species; C. microcarpa is hairy.
Good photographs in the field or from specimen, showing details of flowers, fruits, leaves.
Field margins, waste ground
Casual; often sown in gamebird seed-mixes along field margins.
Occasonal on crop margins sown with birdseed mixes and on set-aside land, and sometimes persists. (G Hall, pers. comm.)
