Getting There

Burleigh Wood can be accessed on foot from the University campus (the only public parking onsite is near the entrance off Epinal Way) as well as via footpaths from Nicolson Road and Compton Close.

Description

Owned and managed by Loughborough University, Burleigh Wood is situated in the South-West corner of the campus. It consists of ancient woodland with a circular path running around it. To the North it has been extended with new planting.

Wildlife Highlights

Burleigh Wood is known for its spectacular display of Bluebells in the Spring.
