NatureSpot contributor Craig came across this pile of Zebra Mussel shells at Frolesworth Manor Lake. We wondered what was predating them and it turns out that local anglers have seen rats dive down to pick them from the bottom. Interesting find! Rats are known to do this but it was thought to be a rare thing - perhaps not!
